TPACK

My reflection on TPACK

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework has been transformative in shaping my ideas of teaching by providing a comprehensive approach to integrating technology effectively into lessons. One of the most significant aspects of TPACK is it recognition of the dynamic relationship between technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge. It emphasizes that effective technology integration is not just about knowing how to use digital tools, but also about understanding how to use them in ways that support and enhance learning goals and objectives.

TPACK has helped me to understand beyond simply using technology as an add-on in my lessons. Instead, it has encouraged me to thoughtfully integrate technology as a tool to facilitate and amplify student learning. By aligning technology with both pedagogical strategies and content knowledge, I will be better able to engage students, differentiate instruction, and create meaningful learning experiences. Moreover, TPACK has encouraged me to be more innovative and creative in teaching approach. It has empowered me to explore new digital tools and resources and to experiment with different instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Overall, the TPACK framework has provided me with a structured and systematic approach to integrating technology into teaching practice. It has helped me to become a more reflective and effective educator, constantly striving to improve and enhance the learning experiences of students through thoughtful and purposeful technology integration.
