My Reflection on SAMR The SAMR model is a framework that helps educators integrate Technology into teaching and learning. SAMR stands for Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition, which are the four levels of technology integration. At substitution level, Technology acts as a direct substitute for traditional methods, with no functional change. For example, using video links to teach. At augmentation level, technology acts as a direct substitute, but with functional improvement. For example, using a word processor with grammar tools enhancing writing process. At modification level, technology allows significant task redesign. for instance, using Google docs for collaborative writing and feedback, enabling real-time collaboration and communication.
