Constructive Tool

My Reflection on constructive tool

Constructive tool is an instrument, device, or resources that facilitates the creation, improvement, or enhancement of something, typically leading to positives outcomes. The computer itself can be used for manipulating information, visualizing one's understanding and building new knowledge. The word tools enable users to produce a certain tangible product for given instructional purpose. For example, concept map program allows users to brainstorm and visualize their understanding of relationship among a collection of concepts. Integration of constructive tool is also one of the teaching pedagogies and as a teacher. construct itself means the making or building of what they learn. The teacher can create an environment where the students can construct their knowledge using these tools

In order to integrate the constructive tool in teaching and learning, teacher must encourage students to use constructive tools to work cooperatively and construct a shared understanding of new knowledge. there must be an interaction between teacher and students when we use ICT as a constructive tool to construct one's knowledge through visualizing one's understanding. Most importantly, learners must actively engage in the learning process, and they must be able to construct their own knowledge.

CMap

CMap is a tool to create and edit mind and concept maps. for that purpose, users can create and connect different nodes, labeled them, and change font or size of the letters, among many others. CMap does not require setting up an account for its use, but it requires downloading. CMap is easy and valuable tool with professional interface. It offers users the ability to visually organize and represent analyzing complex topics, as well as facilitating language learning. CMap, it is highly customizable and can be operated offline, being well-suited for effective and asynchronous group work outside the classroom.

Under constructive tool, I have produced short video on wildlife in Camtasia using background music, sounds, animations and images.

some things I have learned after making a video in Camtasia:

1. I have learned how to trim and cut video clips, rearrange segments, and merge different clips together to create a cohesive video.

2. I have discovered how to add various effects such as transitions, animations, text overlays, and annotations to enhance video.

3. I become known about how to adjust audio levels, add background music, and include voiceovers to improve the quality of video.

4. I have learned how to export video in different formats and resolutions, as well as how to upload it to various platforms

5.I have learned about the importance of planning your video beforehand, creating a storyboard, and telling a compelling story to engage your audience.

Overall, making a video in Camtasia help me in developing valuable skills that are essential for creating engaging and professional-looking videos.
