SAMR

Image
My Reflection on SAMR The SAMR model is a framework that helps educators integrate Technology into teaching and learning. SAMR stands for Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition, which are the four levels of technology integration. At substitution level, Technology acts as a direct substitute for traditional methods, with no functional change. For example, using video links to teach. At augmentation level, technology acts as a direct substitute, but with functional improvement. For example, using a word processor with grammar tools enhancing writing process. At modification level, technology allows significant task redesign. for instance, using Google docs for collaborative writing and feedback, enabling real-time collaboration and communication. At redefinition level, technology allows for the creation of new task that were previously inconvincible. An example could be students creating a multimedia project. The SAMR model aims to encourage educators to move beyond

TPACK

My reflection on TPACK Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework has been transformative in shaping my ideas of teaching by providing a comprehensive approach to integrating technology effectively into lessons. One of the most significant aspects of TPACK is it recognition of the dynamic relationship between technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge. It emphasizes that effective technology integration is not just about knowing how to use digital tools, but also about understanding how to use them in ways that support and enhance learning goals and objectives. TPACK has helped me to understand beyond simply using technology as an add-on in my lessons. Instead, it has encouraged me to thoughtfully integrate technology as a tool to facilitate and amplify student learning. By aligning technology with both pedagogical strategies and content knowledge, I will be better able to engage students, differentiate instruction, and create meaningful learning experiences. Moreov
